Skidamarink A Doo

We haven't been on this blog in a while. Partly because we are still waiting.  So the answer to the question that many ask,"where you at in the adoption?," has been the same answer for a few months now. Waiting. We are ready, but still waiting. Excited to meet our daughter, but still waiting. Anxious to bring her home and introduce her to her brothers, but still waiting.

Wherever you are little girl, you are loved and we are coming.  We love you to pieces already. To the moon and back.  Early in the morning and in the afternoon, all through the evening and underneath the moon.  Skidamarink a dink a dink, skinnamarink a doo.

Some update: When we started this process we knew we couldn't do this without Him. Not just physically, emotionally, but also financially.  Where He calls, He provides.  We have had a garage sale, saved and many friends have generously and sacrificially given.  Recently we were awarded a significant grant.  All praise to Him.  We rejoice and praise the Lord for His faithfulness. We are now around $11,000-13,000 away from the grand total of $28,000-29,000 needed to adopt.

We are very thankful for you, my friend, for journeying with us. We know you are waiting with us. Waiting to see His provision and sharing the joy in this journey.

Our God is faithful. He skinnamarink-a-dink-a-dink loves us and our little daughter more than we will ever comprehend.

"Regardless of the path we choose, or the plans the Lord has for us, as Christians we are benefactors of the greatest adoption in history. Because of the finished work of Christ on the cross, we are adopted into God’s family as his sons and daughters."- Chelsea Patterson, and The Gospel Coalition "Why You Should Consider Adoption”
