WE. ARE. MATCHED!

I have a confession, we have skirted the truth with some of you this past week.  

We couldn’t share all week, but now we can. 

WE’VE BEEN MATCHED!

Friday, January 19, we received the email we had waited for in anticipation; 

our LOI (letter of intent) was officially locked in and we are matched with our sweet daughter. 

We shared with our boys at dinner by giving them each a framed picture of their little sister.  Henry just sat and stared at her picture with a special twinkle in his eye.  The boys slept with her picture right by their side.  We had to move the picture after they fell asleep.  In the morning, Henry woke up and said “where did my picture of Lucy go?”  He grabbed it again and kept it close. 

We are so excited to finally see Lucy come home. 

In the weeks ahead we have more papers to fill out for the immigration process and permission to travel.  We hope in a few months we will be able to travel and bring Lucy home. 

YES, friends, rejoice with us.  Thank you for journeying this far with us, and thank you for all your prayers for our daughter.
