stamped and ready to send.

Great news. The other day our I800 paperwork was approved by the USCIS. I wrote about our home-study being complete and sent to the USCIS June 30th [at 2:24 a.m.].  Forty-six days later on August 14th we received in the mail our approval to adopt.  WooooHoooo!  The US government has approved us to adopt.

It reads, "on the basis of this evidence [the evidence submitted], USCIS has determined that you meet the eligibility requirements as the adoptive parents of a child..."

Now ALL our paperwork gets sealed and then sent to China.

This step will take about a month.  The paperwork will be sent to the secretary of state, then into a 2 step process in Washington DC.  This is the last step in our dossier process.

Crazy. Rejoice with us.

God is Faithful.
