happy chinese new year from thailand!

last year we stayed in tianjin for chinese new year.

this year we opted for more of a relaxing quiet two weeks.  and boy are we glad.  it is amazing here.  the resort we are staying at is super kid friendly and it is warm here.  90 degrees warm!
tomorrow i am going to go get a foot massage by the ocean while the boys sleep.
no cooking.  no dishes.  no schedule.  lots of pool time.  lots of card games.  lots of relaxing.
the only couple things we want to do other than sit by the pool and beach is riding an elephant up a mountain and taking a little boat to "monkey island".  there are monkeys everywhere on this island.  it sounds quite disgusting to me to have monkeys walking all over.  maybe jumping on you if you have bananas.  i mean i am sure they have all had there shots.  but... ya probably not.
tonight we went to a night market in a nearby town.  i am sure if we didn't live in china it would seem really cool.  but it was stuff we see often.
