family time.

chad had the first week of october off because it is a chinese holiday.

we had a wonderful week off spending time with family.

spending time with friends.

and spending time out in the community.

we went to the beach for the day. yes there is a real beach about 1 1/2 hours away.

on the way home from the beach we stopped at ikea and enjoyed a meatball lunch.

we played at the park a lot.  the weather is just starting to settle in the 70's.

and it feels wonderful.

we had friends over for dinner!

watched night "dancing" by the lake.  {i don't know if it is considered dancing or exercise.  maybe both.}

we went to mcdonald's for breakfast early one morning.  and then we went to the fabric market.  don't you love the pic of H playing on my phone

while relaxing in a pile of fabric!  

we went for a walk at the people's park and some lady gave H a handful of chestnuts because she thought he was cute.  the boys ate the chestnuts.  i just want to spit them out as soon as i put them in my mouth. 

we played baseball in the emart area.

it is hard sometimes to find grass big enough to play.

watched our baby M roll from his back to his tummy.  too early.  really i am not ready!!
