day 1: the pick up

the day we have been waiting for.

the countdown chain depleted.

the welcome signs painted.

and the thankful tree placed on the kitchen table.

{for a craft one day H collected twigs, painted them, 

cut out leaves from magazine paper, and wrote things he was excited to do 

or the things that he loved about his boppa and oma}

we rented a van and headed to the airport.

we ran through the front doors of the airport and saw grandpa.

then headed down to the 1st floor to find grandma.

it was a surprise to see uncle matty.  he told us he wasn't coming.  

{H said, "you were suppose to be in Fargo!"}  

mama, oma, and boppa all have mouths wide open with excitement.  

H was looking around wondering what was going on.

all smiles to see his uncle matty.

he brought a big bird for H.  

H loved watching the "big bird in china" movie and he 

thought that he would find big bird here when we moved.

we will blog about each day, all with it's own excitement   

maybe we should start at day 6-10

and then go back to 1-5 like Star Wars.
