for everything.

recently when i went to the opening day at ikea i found a full mattress protector.  before i had only been able to find a small square, made more for a crib than a single size bed.  i was happy to find one that covers the entire bed.  you just never no, right?  

little man found the mattress protector in the dirty clothes basket and immediately his face lit up and with so much thankfulness went on and on about how grateful and thankful he was for the mattress protector. 

he probably didn't even know what it was.  but he was thankful.

thank you son for teaching me a lesson today!
