balls, birthday and baby prep.

the weather and pollution both stop us from being outside.

it is not too cold out, but the pollution is really bad right now.

i heard there are about 6,000 smoke stacks in our city

burning coal to heat our homes.

that's a lot of gunk in the air!

so the other day we came to this play place in emart.

i know it's blurry.

the balls are moving and little man is hanging on for dear life.

really.

i had him go around two extra times just so i could get this picture.

i celebrated my 31st birthday on saturday.

in the morning we skyped with some friends we had not talked to yet 

since we moved.  so thankful for that time!

a lovely friend dropped off stuff to make birthday pancakes.

before we went to dinner, the guys took me out to buy my birthday gift.

little man really wanted to find me a candle.  his idea.  unprompted.  cute!

except.  candles are so hard to find.  we searched and searched.  we were determined to find a candle.

and we did.  he was so proud to give it to me.

chad bought me a george foreman-like grill.

and an ergo to carry the baby in!

little man and chad took me to a wonderful restaurant.

it had spanish latin type food.  yum.  tapas.  it was so good.

after dinner while we were in line to get bubble tea,

chad told me we were headed to our friends home for cheesecake.

{mmm.  my fave.}

we put little man down to bed there and then hung out and chatted.

so fun.  i loved hanging out with my boys and friends on my birthday.

i felt loved!

little man was prepping for baby today.

he swaddled elmo.

kissed him.

rocked him.

fed him.

loved him.

he is going to be such a loving big brother!
