yay day!

every morning little man and i go for a walk to the markets.

sometimes to buy produce.  sometimes milk.  bread.

today we bought meat.

we bought some ground beef for our ayi to make jaozi {dumplings} tomorrow night.

yum. 

then in my best chinese i asked for some chicken tenders.

he pointed to beef.

i repeated my bad chicken chinese

and

he stil pointed to the beef.

so, i pointed to the chicken.  

aaahh! he said.  and told me how to say it in chinese.

he taught me a little chinese and then he asked me how to say it in english.

cute little language lesson today at the meat market. 

today for lunch we had grilled cheese sandwiches and fresh blueberries.

and it was yummy.  cheese is a treat here!

little man likes to hang out in here.  to play hide and seek.  read books.
