our new home.

ok.  so much has happened in only a week.  i am going to try and give 

you an idea of what our home looks like and the area around.

some of the pictures i took are a little bit shaky.  i was in hurry so i could try and get this post done before little man wakes up.  

we walk this path a few times a day to go to the market.

this is one side of 'shoppers street'.

our family room.  eventually we would like to get a rug.  something soft on the feet.  my  feet are not used to walking on hardwood floors all day!

other side of family room.  the thing in the left side is our air conditioner {we are so very thankful for it!  i don't think i have sweated so much in my life when i go outside.  it is mucho hot here right now}  notice there is cute paper in the frames.  i don't have time to go print pictures yet.  and i couldn't stand the paper in them. :)  oh.  eventually the tv on the floor {that we were given for FREE} 

will go on the nice tv stand.  

the other day i went to the fabric market with some friends.  this was my only buy.  cute huh?  i am going to have a tailor make it into a runner for the tv stand.  and maybe some throw pillows and placemats.

like our table?  that was one of our buys at ikea!  we had to go buy a lot of furniture because it was a bit sparse in our place.

i like this pic of the table better, but i put the other one in so you could see the sweet red bench little man likes to sit on for meals.

our entry door.  as soon as we come in the door we take our shoes off.  seriously.  we don't step off the mats with our shoes.  

little man's bathroom.  we bought the washer a few days after we got here.  i would L-O-V-E a dryer, but we are trying to only get the 'necessities' right now.

our room.

we seriously have 2 laundry baskets this full right now.  because once i wash the laundry i only have so many places i can put things to dry.  

a nice little storage area, not so nicely organized!

our bathroom.  notice we have a toilet!! no squattie potties at our home.

ok. so henry is still sleeping and i didn't want to go in there to take pictures and risk waking him.  and our kitchen is full of dishes!  i will post them later.

we really like our new place.  there is so much for us to learn.  we are just taking it all one day at a time.  our Father has been and is so good to us.  continually providing our every need.
