i'm lovin' it

after fellowship today we got off the bus early to look for a fun market, we 

call the 'white market'.  i think it is called that because all the buildings are white.

i dunno.

we were going to get some baozi for lunch, but i took us down the wrong street, 

so we conveniently stopped at mcdonald's.  i know.  yuck in the states,

but

here in china, i am lovin' it!

do you see the food i was able to order for us?

just kidding.

i looked at pictures and told them {in chinese} i wanted 3 of them.

45 kaui later...yum!

it really was good.

i need to learn how to order better though because i took the easy way and just ordered 3 meals. 

and they were all the same.  

i didn't even tell them what kind of soda i wanted.  

therefore they are all regular coke's.  

hmmmm....chad likes coke, but not the best thing for a 2 year old and type 1 diabetic.

so we gave little man a little soda and i just shot up a little extra.  well.

a lot extra.

enjoying a yummy ice cream cone with ronald.

it is not uncommon to see kids little man's age or younger {sometimes older},

peeing {and the even less desirable to see} anywhere.  

really.  anywhere.

it was evident today on our walk home that little man has observed this more than once.

he insisted on peeing on the sidewalk.  did he need to go?

i have no clue, but he sure wanted to.

he would stop walking,

try to unzip his shorts and just stand there {with his diaper on}.

he didn't even attempt to try hide in a corner or bush.

he was right smack in the middle of the sidewalk.

maybe we will start potty training.  there are 'toilets' everywhere here.
